Job summary

Exoben Inc. is seeking an Electrochemical Engineer in the United States to advance battery technology. You will study how materials behave during charging and discharging, aiming to improve efficiency, lifecycle, and safety.

Collaborating with research and cell engineering teams, you will analyze performance, address degradation, and support validation and testing to drive Exoben’s next-generation energy storage solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage; PhD is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrochemistry and battery materials.
  • Experience in laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to connect theory with real-world application.
  • Strong communicator.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze electrochemical performance of battery cells.
  • Study behavior of cathode, anode and electrolyte materials.
  • Support improvements in energy density and cycle life.
  • Identify causes of degradation and performance loss.
  • Work with research teams to test new materials and chemistries.
  • Support validation and testing processes.
  • Contribute to improving safety and stability of battery systems.
  • Document findings and support development decisions.
