Job summary

Exoben Inc. is seeking a Battery Design Engineer to support the development of its battery systems across energy storage and mobility platforms.

You will design battery structures, layouts and components to deliver strong performance and reliability, coordinating with cell engineering, systems integration and manufacturing teams to ensure practical, scalable solutions. This role requires rigorous attention to detail, practical problem solving and clear communication within a cross-disciplinary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Master’s degree advantageous; PhD preferred.
Experience with battery systems and product design.
Strong understanding of battery structures and system integration.
Detail-oriented with focus on performance and reliability.
Strong communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

Design battery systems and layouts for LithioX and SodioX platforms.
Define cell arrangement, module structure and overall battery architecture.
Ensure designs meet performance, safety and efficiency targets.
Collaborate with thermal and electrical teams to optimize system performance.
Work with manufacturing teams to prepare designs for production.
Support testing and validation of battery designs.
Identify design challenges and implement practical solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering requirements.
Support integration of battery systems into energy storage and mobility platforms.
