Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing seeks an Electronics/Mechanical Assembly Technician to assemble hardware including electrical chassis, cables, PCBs, and electro-mechanical assemblies. The role involves using torque drivers, crimpers, stripers, and reading assembly drawings, in a collaborative team environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma/GED with 1–3 years experience, be a US citizen eligible for a Secret clearance, and hold IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Able to read drawings and follow work instructions.
• Experience with specialized tools used in electro-mechanical assembly.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and use of tools for electro-mechanical assembly (torque drivers, crimpers, strippers).
• Follow assembly work instructions and read mechanical drawings.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to solve build problems.
• Work in a team environment with multiple functions and production teams.
