Job summary

STS Technical Services is seeking Electro-Mechanical Technicians in Indianapolis, Indiana to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated equipment. This role blends electrical and mechanical skills to support high-efficiency manufacturing and minimize downtime.

You will read schematics, install and service electrical/mechanical systems, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot instrumentation such as thermocouples and pressure transducers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial experience in electrical/mechanical environments.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, HMI systems, and motor drives.
• Proficient with multimeters and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic calibration on facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation like thermocouples, tachometers, temperature controllers, and pressure transducers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to support production needs.
• Operate forklifts and practice safe material handling.
