Job summary

Advanced Electronic Services, Inc. is seeking a hands-on assembler to build a wide variety of electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems following standard work procedures and schematics.

You will read instructions, gather parts, assemble, and verify quality while maintaining clean work standards. The role involves wiring of relays, PLCs, I/O modules, and VFDs, plus troubleshooting with engineering to resolve issues and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or wiring diagrams.
• Experience in production or assembly roles preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude beneficial and electrical knowledge helpful.
• Ability to reference part numbers and work with documentation.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per drawings and specifications.
• Read instructions and determine required parts.
• Perform point-to-point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O modules, and VFDs.
• Inspect parts, replace as needed, and complete quality check.
• Use hand tools and ensure proper cable routing.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues with engineering or leadership.
• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety policies.
• Communicate status with other departments.
• Cross-train in other areas.
