Job summary

BD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on electronic and mechanical equipment in a cGMP Medical Devices setting. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain parts inventory while supporting engineering projects and continuous improvement efforts.

You’ll read blueprints and schematics, use test equipment, and ensure compliance with BD safety regulations and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Computer skills including SAP, Excel and Word.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnose causes and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Support engineering projects including ordering and installing new equipment and IQs.
• Continuous improvement projects to reduce costs, improve reliability and reduce waste.
• Test circuits and use oscilloscopes, signal generators, meters.
