Job summary

Nestlé is seeking an Electromechanical Technician in Hartwell, GA to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment with a focus on electrical and automation systems. You will work with production and maintenance staff to resolve issues quickly and keep assets running efficiently.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of industrial experience, including PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, ladder logic, and electrical maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent with 3+ years’ industrial electrical/mechanical experience including PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, ladder logic, motors, and electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment focusing on electrical and automation systems.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance personnel to quickly solve problems and implement solutions.
• Operate forklift to move equipment or parts as needed.
• Utilize safety and food safety best practices in all tasks.
• Utilize PLC knowledge to troubleshoot production equipment without modifying programming.
