Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Hartwell, GA is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment with a focus on electrical and automation systems. You will work on a 12-hour shift schedule on a 3,2,2 pattern, day or overnight, to keep factory assets operating smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience (PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, ladder logic, motors).

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ industrial electrical/mechanical experience, PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, ladder logic, motors, and electrical maintenance.
• Associate degree/2-year technical degree acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment with focus on electrical/automation systems.
• Collaborate with production/maintenance teams to solve problems quickly.
• Operate forklift to move equipment or parts as needed.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems and other digital tools.
• Follow safety and food safety best practices.
