Job summary

Alcon in Johns Creek, GA is seeking an Electro Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair production equipment, reducing downtime and improving yield and quality. You will support maintenance activities on 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM shift, 36–48 hours per week, onsite with 0% travel and no relocation assistance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of relevant experience, with strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance for all production equipment in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems
• Assisting others with technical problems within the team including production personnel
• Rebuilding and restoring used parts as an 'as built' condition contributing to cost avoidance
• Improving maintenance systems (Preventative, Corrective, Predictive, Spare Parts)
• Supporting equipment retrofits and upgrades and updating SOPs and repair instructions
• Optimizing equipment and processes to improve product quality, output, yield, and reduce costs
• Completing validation protocols
