Job summary

Laborie is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Technician to support catheter and micro-sensor assembly operations. The role maintains production equipment, calibrations, and data documentation to uphold performance and quality.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in electronics/electromechanical tech and 2+ years in electro-mechanical roles, plus soldering and test equipment proficiency. Collaboration with engineering is essential to drive equipment improvements.

Qualifications

Associate degree in electronics, electromechanical technology, or related field, or equivalent training.
2+ years as an electro-mechanical or electronics technician.
Proficiency with electronic test equipment and soldering tools.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with PLCs, embedded systems, or automated equipment is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 or other documentation/reporting software.

Responsibilities

Maintain manufacturing equipment including pneumatic systems, fixtures, drills, printers, and other production gear.
Execute calibration procedures and document verifications with proper records.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment; perform preventive maintenance and document all work.
Collaborate with Engineering and technicians on fixture qualifications and equipment modifications.
Perform testing and calibration of sensors and catheters.
Solder PCBs for finished goods and test equipment.
