Job summary

Medical Devices Company is seeking an Instrument Assembly Technician in Sparks, MD for a 12-month contract. The role involves assembling electromechanical modules, reading drawings, and performing precise measurements to blueprint specifications.

It requires standing for long periods, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to GMP and safety policies. Overtime may be required to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED with 3 years manufacturing experience or an AA technical degree with 1 year experience. Experience in a regulated environment required.
• Must be proficient in reading drawings and measuring dimensions to blueprint specifications.
• Experience using torque drivers, gauges, and standard hand tools in a controlled production setting.
• Strong commitment to GMP and quality procedures; capable of following detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical modules and subassemblies per drawings and specs.
• Read diagrams and perform wiring, component installation, and testing steps.
• Conduct quality inspections and document results per process requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrument assembly issues and implement fixes.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow GMP practices.
