Job summary

Indiana Sugars, Inc. seeks an Electro Mechanical Technician to oversee maintenance of large production facility machinery and to support Safety, Quality and Production goals.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect machines, read blueprints and service equipment including motors, conveyors, and control systems. Strong problem solving and PLC familiarity are essential in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance background or apprenticeship preferred.
• Reading engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs and automation equipment beneficial.
• Familiarity with NFPA/OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and service on production machinery.
• Record PM activities daily and monitor equipment condition.
• Inspect, remove and replace machine parts as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and ensure optimal machine performance.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, and control systems; repair as needed.
