Job summary

American Technology Components, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair critical production equipment across electronics and wire harness operations.

The candidate will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic failures, maintain logs, and manage spare parts with CMMS. Strong PLC/control knowledge, safety compliance, and teamwork with production are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on maintenance experience in electronics, wire harness, or precision manufacturing equipment.
• Experience maintaining the listed equipment types or similar systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and OEM service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document scheduled preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic failures; restore operation.
• Maintain maintenance logs and spare parts inventory using CMMS or equivalent.
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and support production schedules.
• Perform safety tasks including lockout/tagout and participate in RCA and continuous improvement.
