Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join the Huntsville, Alabama team. You will interpret drawings, build and test hardware for DoD projects, and collaborate with engineers and customers to meet mission requirements.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with relevant aerospace manufacturing experience and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Location is Huntsville-North Alabama with potential for varied responsibilities and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 1+ year aerospace manufacturing or related experience.
• Experience reading schematic drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience building and installing electrical and/or mechanical assemblies.
• Familiar with basic hand tools, torque wrenches, and wire crimping tools.
• Ability to perform cable fabrication work.
• High manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Willingness to relocate to Huntsville/North Alabama area.
