Job summary

GoMacro in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT) for the 3rd shift to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment across manufacturing operations, automation, and robotics.

Key tasks include routine maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, inspections for safety and standards, HVAC and pneumatic systems work, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordinating with vendors to overhaul equipment.

Qualifications

• Certification in an area relevant to maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in maintenance that includes inspecting and testing equipment or building systems.
• Excellent time management skills and adept at coordinating and following multiple deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow specific, technical specifications and instructions.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments, and clearly communicate technical information, issues, and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operation and reduce downtime.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure it meets industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, electrical equipment, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems or equipment, including identifying faulty components and replacing them.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues with both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used.
• Document all inspections, repairs, and modifications to systems and equipment.
• Ensure production efficiencies are met by performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Aid in coordinating work performed by outside vendors to overhaul production equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
