Job summary

Datwyler Group in New Jersey is seeking an Electro Mechanic (2nd shift) to maintain production equipment and ensure quality performance in line with GMP and SOPs. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of mechanical and electrical experience, knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• 3–5 years’ related mechanical and electrical experience.
• Hands-on hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and chiller systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, cleaning and repairs of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical wiring, switches, relays, contactors, starters, drives and motors.
• Runs conduit, wiring outlets, breakers, transformers, and lighting.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs hydraulic/pneumatic valves and cylinders; replaces or repairs as needed.
• Rebuilds rack and pinion on presses.
• Replaces gears, pulleys, belts on machines, exhaust fans and AC units.
• Maintains records of inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs.
