Job summary

Datwyler is seeking an Electro Mechanic (2nd shift) to maintain production equipment and ensure GMP-compliant operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and support equipment reliability on the production floor.

You will read schematics, work with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens), and basic HVAC components while following SOPs, WI's, and safety rules. This is a hands-on, growth-minded role.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years related mechanical and electrical experience.
• Hands-on hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
• Licensure in forklift, plumbing, electrical or boiler operator is a plus.
• HVAC and chiller systems knowledge is desirable.
• Ability to read and understand procedures in English.
• Mechanical and electrical abilities are required.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics and blueprints.
• Ability to handle hazardous chemicals.
• Basic arithmetic and problem solving.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with GMP, SOPs and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, cleaning and repairs of machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, switches, relays, contactors, starters, drives and motors.
• Run conduit, wiring outlets, breakers, transformers and lighting.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic/pneumatic valves and cylinders.
• Rebuild rack and pinion on presses and replace gears/belts as needed.
• Maintain records and logs for inspections, testing and repairs.
