Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Technician 2 for a full-time weekend-night opportunity in Ripon, Wisconsin. This is a hands‑on industrial maintenance role requiring strong electrical, PLC, electronic controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
The Electro Mechanical Technician 2 is responsible for troubleshooting, testing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and electromechanical systems used to control manufacturing machinery and equipment. The technician works across electrical power, PLC and electronic controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical components to keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
This position requires the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, sketches, and diagrams; troubleshoot machine-control circuits; install electrical and electronic controls; perform basic mechanical repairs; and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for maintenance work orders and parts management.
A two-year Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or a closely related technical field is the formal educational requirement. Exceptional candidates without the degree should only be considered for manager review when they bring 4 years of directly comparable hands‑on electrical/PLC/electronic‑controls maintenance experience plus relevant technical or trade credentials.
This is not a general mechanical maintenance position. Candidates must demonstrate hands‑on electrical and controls experience, including PLC and electronic control troubleshooting, along with hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting. Strong mechanical experience without the required electrical/controls background does not satisfy the core technical requirements.
