Job description

Location: Two Rivers, WI (No Remote)

  • SCHEDULE: 4-Day Work Week | Monday – Thursday (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM) | Occasional Friday overtime (typically 1 Friday/month)
  • COMPENSATION: Up to $32.00/Hour baseline rate + tuition assistance & comprehensive corporate benefits
  • TECHNICAL FOCUS: 480V 3-phase power, AC/DC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, relays, and basic PLC diagnostics
  • EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of industrial machinery maintenance, electro-mechanical repair, or equipment troubleshooting
  • ENVIRONMENT: Modern, high-autonomy custom production facility housing 45+ advanced molding presses

If you are a reliable, self-directed maintenance professional looking to escape rigid corporate bureaucracies and slow-moving conglomerate environments, this direct-hire path provides a stable, high-autonomy career home. This established, debt‑free precision manufacturing leader brings over 40 years of market success, consolidating engineering, custom tooling, and high-volume production under one roof. The organization is built on exceptional long-term stability—evidenced by multiple team members who have built careers here for over 30 years—and a leadership team that aggressively reinvests profits back into modern plant machinery.

This position is a true "blank canvas" for a technician who takes pride in equipment reliability and enjoys technical variety. Rather than being siloed into a narrow, repetitive task, you will wear multiple technical hats, tackling an evolving mix of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical challenges across a fleet of 45+ production presses. Because priority is placed on character, technical curiosity, and work ethic, candidates with a strong blend of hands‑on skill and a drive to keep learning are highly valued.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex production machinery, seamlessly handling electrical root‑cause isolation up to 480V three‑phase systems.
  • Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance routines across production equipment, including lubricating machinery, testing thermocouples, and optimizing heating systems.
  • Tackle diverse technical challenges, ranging from rebuilding hydraulic/pneumatic valves and replacing relays and switches to executing general facility upkeep projects.
  • Dismantle malfunctioning equipment independently utilizing cranes, hoists, and hand tools to repair components before reassembling and verifying operational efficiency.
  • Partner directly with plant management and engineering teams to manage operational assets, minimize equipment downtime, and coordinate equipment installations.
  • Document maintenance data accurately, tracking repair lifecycles, part consumption, and production equipment diagnostics.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
  • 2+ years of verifiable experience executing electro‑mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance within a manufacturing or custom job‑shop setting.
  • Strong electrical and fluid power fluency, with hands‑on comfort reading schematics and diagnosing low‑voltage sensors, SSR relays, three‑phase motors, pumps, and basic PLC architectures.
  • Decisive, self‑directed drive with the confidence to step up, troubleshoot faults independently, and think critically on the shop floor.
  • Uncompromising reliability and work ethic backed by an excellent attendance record and a safety‑first mindset.
  • Local proximity, with permanent residency established within a comfortable commuting distance of the I‑43 manufacturing corridor near the Two Rivers, WI region.
