Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Roselle, IL. You will maintain and repair high-speed production equipment, packaging machinery, and facility utility systems to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs and AC/DC drives, and a commitment to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs and AC/DC drive systems.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventive, and emergency maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and AC/DC drive systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility system issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, work orders, and equipment documentation.
• Complete preventive maintenance inspections and document all work in the CMMS system.
• Support manufacturing systems including lubrication, resin delivery, and utility/process equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders promptly.
• Assist with maintenance parts inventory and report low stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work area.
• Follow OSHA regulations, LOTO procedures, Arc Flash requirements, GMPs, MSS, and SOPs.
• Communicate equipment issues effectively with production, supervisors, and maintenance team members.
• Identify CCPs and support food safety initiatives.
