Jobot is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to support a critical industrial operation in the Port Arthur area. The role focuses on maintaining production-critical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and improving overall equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, read schematics, and work in a demanding outdoor industrial environment with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Preventive maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot sensors, relays, contactors, motor controls, and low-voltage systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform motor replacements, alignments, and equipment repairs.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation in a CMMS.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage and overtime as needed.
• Adhere to safety procedures including LOTO and fall protection.

This position is responsible for maintaining production‑critical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting overall equipment reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, couplings, chains, and rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot sensors, relays, contactors, motor controls, and low‑voltage electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Perform motor replacements, alignments, and equipment repairs.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation within a CMMS.
• Participate in rotating on‑call coverage and overtime as required.
• Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and fall‑protection requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with motors, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Preventive maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Comfortable working at heights and in an outdoor industrial environment.

• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Allen‑Bradley controls experience.

• Millwright experience.
