We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to support a critical industrial operation in the Port Arthur area.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on troubleshooter with experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment in an industrial environment. This position is responsible for maintaining production‑critical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting overall equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, couplings, chains, and rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot sensors, relays, contactors, motor controls, and low‑voltage electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Perform motor replacements, alignments, and equipment repairs.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation within a CMMS.
- Participate in rotating on‑call coverage and overtime as required.
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and fall‑protection requirements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with motors, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Preventive maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
- Comfortable working at heights and in an outdoor industrial environment.

- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Allen‑Bradley controls experience.
- Instrumentation experience.
- Millwright experience.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Conveyor or material‑handling equipment experience.
- CMMS experience.
- TWIC card.
