Verdeco Recycling, Inc. California Location is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 4:00 pm–12:30 am).

You will read electrical schematics, troubleshoot 24VDC to 480V systems, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to maximize uptime. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing, an associate degree or equivalent, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8–12 hour shifts in a

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing with strong electrical knowledge.
• Associate Degree in Machine Technology or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
• Creative problem solver and reliable team player.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot 24VDC to 480V systems and control circuits.
• Diagnose and replace contactors, relays, overloads, and VFDs.
• Use test equipment: multimeters, megger, clamp meter.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs during production.
• Maintain safety practices per LOTO and NFPA 70E.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment.
• Provide detailed maintenance reports and improve PM tasks.
