Job summary

Verdeco Recycling, Inc. -- California Location seeks an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician for a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 4:00 pm-12:30 am) to maintain and repair production equipment in a fast-paced recycling facility.

Responsibilities include interpreting electrical schematics, troubleshooting control circuits, and performing preventative maintenance to keep lines running. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with strong electrical knowledge, an associate degree (or equivalent

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing with strong electrical knowledge reading schematics.
• Associate Degree in Machine Technology or similar technical discipline preferred; relevant work experience may substitute.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
• Creative problem solver.
• Reliable, trustworthy and collaborative team player.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
• Works in production environments.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot 24VDC control circuits, 120/240/480V systems.
• Diagnose and replace Contactors/relays/overloads/VFD (ABB, KEB, Allen Bradley).
• Able to use Multimeters/Megger/Clamp meter.
• PLC I/O basics.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance.
