Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to keep large mixers, blenders, ovens, and conveyors running smoothly on the plant floor. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and install or stabilize new systems while supporting forklift services as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 1–5 years in manufacturing, PLC/VFD troubleshooting (no coding), and a solid grasp of GMP/OSHA in a food environment. Strong teamwork and proactive issue resolution are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Maintenance Technology; hands-on training accepted.
• 1–5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs; programming not required.
• Knowledge of maintenance best practices, OSHA safety, and common maintenance terminology.
• Team-focused communicator with a history of collaboration.
• Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and production needs in a food environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep large-scale mixers, blenders, belt ovens, and conveyors in top condition.
• Execute plant-wide preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Install, debug, and stabilize new and existing equipment.
• Support the warehouse by servicing forklifts and performing lift truck repairs.
• Collaborate with Production on safety and quality concerns and resolve them quickly.
