Job summary

The Inventory Recovery Technician at Webstaurantstore will own the repair and testing workflow, collaborating with the resale and Reverse Logistics teams to log repairs, identify trends, and drive proper listing campaigns.

This role requires at least 1 year in a distribution setting; electrical/mechanical/HVAC maintenance is a plus, and a high school diploma or GED is acceptable. Candidates should be ready for a fast-paced environment and off-shift support when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a distribution environment; maintenance experience in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC fields preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage repair logs to ensure proper repair/testing follow-through.
• Test and repair items prior to listing via electrical and mechanical evaluation.
• Foster a team-oriented environment with a positive, professional attitude.
• Communicate with internal departments on customer questions, repair trends and commonalities.
• Independently decide on product resolution (scrap vs repair).
• Oversee parts inventory to ensure product availability.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy and quality of work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
