Job summary

WebstaurantStore Food Service Equipment and Supply Company is looking for a Maintenance Technician responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment. This role includes managing outside vendor communications and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Forklift and scissor lift experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• No degree required; skills and experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair of warehouse equipment like conveyor belts and forklifts.
• Communicate with outside vendors for warranty or repair issues.
• Ensure equipment batteries are maintained per manufacturer intervals.
• Support maintenance projects and scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety according to safety protocols.
