Job summary

Webstaurantstore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee preventive maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the warehouse and its material handling equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and racking. You will coordinate service with outside vendors and support cost tracking and operational improvements.

The role requires maintaining a clean, safe work environment, reporting equipment status, and driving timely maintenance to maximize uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment and conveyors.
• Familiarity with forklift safety, battery watering, and routine upkeep.
• Ability to coordinate with external vendors for warranty work and repairs.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to LOTO and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment including conveyors, forklifts, and racking.
• Repair and service equipment as needed and coordinate with vendors for warranty work.
• Maintain batteries watered and maintained per manufacturer guidelines.
• Log maintenance activities in internal systems and track costs.
• Promote efficiency of the warehouse yard and upkeep of pallets and skids.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards promptly.
