Webstaurantstore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repair and upkeep of our warehouse facilities and material handling equipment, including conveyors, forklifts and racking. You will coordinate with external vendors and support operational improvements while maintaining safety and cost tracking.

The role emphasizes equipment status communication to management, a clean work environment, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair of warehouse equipment including conveyors and forklifts.
• Coordinate with outside vendors on warranty issues and repair needs.
• Maintain batteries and follow manufacturer maintenance intervals.
• Support maintenance projects and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Promote yard efficiency and pallet/skid upkeep.
• Operate forklifts and floor scrubbers.
• Report forklift issues promptly to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per safety protocols.
• Log all maintenance activities in internal systems.
• Recommend repairs, rebuilds, or replacements of components.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Follow safety guidelines and report hazards to leadership.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
