Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Technician II-Product/Test at our Garden Grove, California facility.

You will perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of electromechanical relays to support production and reliability programs, following ATPs, WI, and engineering specs. The role runs 7:00 am–4:00 pm and requires documenting test results, ensuring calibration, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical certification is a plus.
• 2–3 years of electronics testing experience preferred in aerospace or high-reliability environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals and Ohm's law.

Mansioni

• Perform production and qualification testing of electromechanical relays per ATP/WI.
• Set up and operate test equipment (DMM, scopes, power supplies, HIPOT).
• Document test results and observations in manufacturing records and databases.
• Identify and report nonconformances to Engineering/Quality.
• Ensure calibration status of test equipment prior to use.
• Maintain clean, organized 6S workstations and follow safety rules.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and fixtures and with test setups.
