Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Mount Holly Springs is seeking a tester to identify and interpret process documentation for automated testing, and to operate test equipment including multimeters and ATE systems.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in electronic testing, a quality mindset, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Onsite work with training provided and potential shift differential on 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic or product testing.
• Quality and safety minded.
• Detail-oriented and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic PC skills, math skills, and product knowledge.
• Basic electronic / electrical knowledge or understanding.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associates degree in technical field.

Responsibilities

• Identify, read, and interpret process documentation to perform a variety of automated testing.
• Interpret basic test data to determine pass / fail test results.
• Operate basic test equipment (multimeter) and automated test systems.
• Basic soldering of surface mount components.
• Other duties as assigned.
