Boeing is seeking an Experienced Production Operations Specialist (Electro-Mechanical) to join our El Segundo team, on 2nd shift. The role focuses on developing and maintaining manufacturing processes, monitoring production progress, and addressing defects or inefficiencies. U.S.

citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required. The position is 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA, with relocation not provided and travel up to 5% per year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year operating specialized equipment such as Electrodynamic shakers, Thermal Vacuum Chambers and/or Thermal Cycling Chambers.
• 1+ year of experience leading teams.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improves production efficiency, and optimizes product quality.
• Monitors, assesses, and provides status on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs.
• Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate.
• Conducts staffing and cost analyses.
• Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
• Represents manufacturing on production related issues.
• Establishes and maintains production schedules.
