Job summary

Millennium Space Systems in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Quality Inspector to join our fast-paced quality team on 2nd shift. You will read engineering drawings, perform electrical and workmanship inspections, and document results.

Requires 3+ years QA/inspection, IPC standards, ability to obtain US security clearance, and union environment. Onsite position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in Quality Assurance and inspection.
• Experience with ESD, IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Lift 20 lbs and stand/move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets engineering drawings and performs inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
• Performs receiving inspections of PCB/PCBA, conformal coating, wire harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Reviews certificates and test documents; documents results and flags non-conformances.
• Drives MRB actions, coordinates with quality, engineering and suppliers.
• Documents results in ERP and supports cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Participates in training to ensure compliance with quality standards and systems.
• Ensures all equipment is calibrated and within tolerances; identifies process improvements.
