Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to bring electro-mechanical products from development into production, focusing on manufacturability, assembly, and quality improvements. You will partner with design, engineering, suppliers, and operations to drive NPI and resolve production challenges through root cause analysis.

This is a hands-on role requiring cross-functional collaboration and a passion for turning concepts into production-ready solutions across advanced automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• 7+ years of electro-mechanical design, assembly, and testing experience
• Strong experience with manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability (DFM), and new product introduction (NPI)
• Mechanical CAD experience (NX preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on mechanical/electro-mechanical systems
• Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Bring new electro-mechanical products from development into production, improving manufacturability, assembly processes, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with design, engineering, suppliers, and operations teams to drive new product introductions, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production problems and reduce variability.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth transition from concept to production and optimize manufacturability and cost.
• Support continuous improvement programs to enhance throughput, yield, and overall manufacturing performance.
