Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer to drive process development and manufacturing readiness for new product introductions. You will own engineering deliverables for NPI projects, provide DFM/DFA input, develop robust processes and tooling, support qualification and launch, and help standardize practices across sites.

You will lead manufacturing readiness activities from concept to launch and influence early product design for manufacturability,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field; 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing, process development, or NPI experience.
Hands-on experience with machine, equipment, and process design, development, and deployment in production.
Strong Lean tools experience and ability to operate in remote, geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

Lead or support development and implementation of manufacturing technologies, equipment, and appropriate automation for NPI.
Perform PFMEA and implement high-risk mitigation plans.
Conduct manufacturing capacity analysis and develop tooling/equipment specifications.
Execute sample builds for DFM and process development.
Generate process specifications and help standardize manufacturing practices across sites.
