Join to apply for the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Night Shift role at Bernatello's Foods.

• Schedule: 2-2-3 nights, 6:00pm to 6:00am.
• Apprentice programs available after 1 year of employment.
• Full-time position with benefits (medical, dental, vision insurance).
• Sign-on bonus: $1000.
• Referral bonus: $1000.
• Starting pay: $30+ based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance team with all functions of the maintenance department.
• Support operators in equipment optimization.
• Identify and document equipment defects and repairs.
• Verify energy isolation (LOTO) with proper testing.
• Perform basic facility maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Conduct daily checks and promote 5S practices.
• Operate forklift and scissors lift.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, and mechanical tasks.
• Read mechanical prints and order parts as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil, grease, belts, minor adjustments).
• Assist higher technicians with troubleshooting.
• Enter work hours and complete work orders/PMs.
• Create work orders for defects.
• Follow GMP, SQF, USDA policies.
• Write and communicate shift downtime reports.
• Maintain inventory control SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and electro-mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stoop, bend, kneel, climb.
• Basic math, writing, and computer skills.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Use of basic hand tools, PPE required.
• Team-oriented with good interaction skills.
• Ability to understand written and spoken English.
