Electro-Mechanical Technician II - Weekend Shift

Standard Work Hours

- Weekend Nights: Friday to Sunday, 4 pm – 4 am

Key Responsibilities

- Design minor electrical circuits; test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits for machine and equipment control.

- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.

- Install electrical and electronic controls by interpreting schematics or blueprints.

- Maintain knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.

- Perform basic mechanical repairs.

- Execute tasks typically performed by lower-class technicians and may oversee their work.

- Dismantle electrical machinery; replace defective parts like brushes and armatures.

- Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacements.

- Interpret blueprints, and work from sketches or verbal instructions.

- Perform layouts, assemblies, installations, tests, repairs, and adjustments to electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services including panels, breakers, and conduits.

- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position.
