Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech II for the 2nd shift (4pm-12:30am, Mon-Fri; some Saturdays). You will support manufacturing operations, diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical equipment, and perform PM tasks to keep lines running efficiently.

Associates degree in related field is preferred and 2–3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field is desired.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Adherence to safety policies/procedures and commitment to customer quality.
• Standby assignments; overtime as required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks following instructions.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and PLC inputs/outputs.
• Monitor spare parts usage and complete parts order forms.
• Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program.
• Train new and Level 1 mechanics in more complex tasks and skills.
