Job summary

WITRON Group is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support a highly automated distribution center in Temple, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components to keep material handling systems running at peak performance.

The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with 480V systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment, and familiarity with PLCs and schematics.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or Electro-Mechanical Technician.
• Experience with 480V electrical systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated systems.
• Work on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (3-phase, 480V), VFDs, and mechanical equipment.
• Support operations by minimizing downtime in a fast-paced distribution center.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Use CMMS systems to track maintenance activities.
