Job summary

Plymouth Tube Company - Trent is seeking a Maintenance Technician to reliably maintain equipment and support customer expectations. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and Kaizen-based improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include completing work orders via CMMS, troubleshooting Mill equipment, and collaborating in cross-functional teams. Requires a high school diploma/GED and relevant certifications; Rockwell software experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; three years of Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registration: Forklift certification, Crane Certification, Confined Space, First Aid/CPR.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely completion of work orders placed through the Mill CMMS.
• Participate in problem-solving teams and kaizen events to improve operating performance.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot all Mill equipment.
• Participate in Team meetings of Maintenance Team Members and Cross-Functional Teams as directed.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance procedures and equipment improvement activities.
• Inspect and inventory site-generated hazardous waste staging areas.
• Assist the transfer of site-generated hazardous waste to on-site staging areas.
• Direct storage of site-generated hazardous waste in the hazardous waste staging areas.
• Conduct inspections of Satellite Accumulation Areas.
• Respond to all customers with urgency and professionalism.
