Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Schaumburg, IL team. This role supports maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position is temp-to-hire with 2nd and 3rd shifts, offering pay of $32.00–$35.00 per hour plus overtime opportunities. Candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical skills and experience with industrial controls and CMMS/SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred; trade certification is a plus.
Experience with industrial maintenance and electrical troubleshooting is required.
Knowledge of CMMS/SAP and reading electrical schematics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical production equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
Maintain conveyors, palletizers, case packers, labelers, storage systems, and automated equipment.
Diagnose electrical systems including motors, controls, drives, transformers, and PLCs.
Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, valves, bearings, and mechanical components.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
Follow all safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintenance procedures.
Train and support equipment operators to improve performance and reliability.
