Express Employment Professionals in Hampshire, IL is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial production equipment. You will focus on equipment reliability to support safe, efficient operations on a full-time basis.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, proficiency with motors, PLCs, and instrumentation, and the ability to read schematics and diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or journeyman status preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits, PLCs, motors, instrumentation, and ladder logic.
• Knowledge of mechanical drives, motor alignment, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and precision measurement tools.
• Ability to use testing equipment such as voltmeters, recorders, and oscilloscopes; must supply own tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, able to lift up to 50 lbs., and capable of reading and understanding technical documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret machine manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints, and process control diagrams.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC motors, PLC controllers, and 3-phase power control circuits.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment improvements to support production goals and product quality.
• Follow and enforce all safety regulations, including NFPA 70E standards, and assist with JSA reviews and updates.
