Job summary

Biztech Inc is seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support production equipment on the second shift. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running efficiently.

You will work with motors, sensors, controls, presses, CNC equipment, and automated machinery, reading schematics and using CMMS for documentation. Safety and continuous improvement are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school, apprenticeship, or industrial maintenance training is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on industrial production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose equipment failures involving motors, sensors, controls, presses, CNC-type equipment, and automated machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Assist with the installation, setup, commissioning, and modification of production machinery.
• Partner with production and engineering personnel to identify recurring problems and implement long-term solutions.
• Document repairs, inspections, parts usage, and PM activities within a CMMS; system-specific training will be provided.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on equipment uptime, reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Follow established safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO); additional training can be provided.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school, apprenticeship, or industrial maintenance training is highly desirable.
• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong hands‑on troubleshooting ability with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Experience working with industrial machinery such as CNC equipment, presses, motors, sensors, conveyors, or automated systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics.
• PLC and industrial automation troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with CMMS or computerized maintenance systems is helpful.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production and engineering teams.
