Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Electro-Mechanical (Starlink) to own TWTA hardware from design through production, ensuring high-reliability, cost-effective manufacturing for state-of-the-art RF vacuum electronics.

You will lead process development, work with suppliers, validate test results, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to deliver robust gateways hardware for Starlink network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of hardware design/build/test experience.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design factory and processes for rapid, low-cost manufacturing of vacuum tech.
• Develop novel manufacturing procedures with partner teams.
• Manage new product introduction and production processes for TWTA.
• Work with manufacturers to implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve manufacturability and reliability.
• Perform environmental and performance testing to validate criteria.
• Take ownership of product outcomes at all stages.
