Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Electro-Mechanical to own hardware design, testing, and manufacturing improvements for Starlink gateway systems. You will work across design, manufacturing, and suppliers to drive reliability and cost reductions.

Responsibilities

• Design the factory and processes to enable rapid, reliable, and low-cost manufacturing of vacuum technology.
• Work with partner teams to develop novel manufacturing procedures.
• Manage new product introduction and develop production processes for TWTA assemblies.
• Work with manufacturers and suppliers to implement process improvements to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with design teams and provide feedback to improve manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
• Perform environmental and performance testing to validate analysis and criteria compliance.
• Demonstrate ownership of product outcomes at all stages.
