Job summary

Coesia North America is seeking a skilled electro-mechanical field service technician to perform on-site and remote support, training, and repair for R.A Jones equipment across the United States and internationally.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, program PLCs, install sensors, start up machines, and train customer personnel to operate and maintain the packaging machinery.

Qualifications

• Must have technical training in electro-mechanical technology or relevant experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Willingness to travel 75-80% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and telephone support, training and repair for customers.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, HMIs and motor control circuits.
• Install and configure sensors, actuators and other electrical components.
• Start-up machines in customer plants and train personnel.
• Provide preventative maintenance and upgrades as needed.
• Assist parts department in identifying required parts.
