Job summary

G.D., part of Coesia North America, seeks a skilled electro-mechanical field service professional to perform on-site and telephone support, training, and repair for customers. Travel to domestic and international sites will be up to 70% of the time.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, startup machines, train customer personnel, and assist with parts ordering and service reporting. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of technical training in mechanical and electrical technology.
• Working knowledge of packaging equipment, electrical and mechanical devices, and the control systems used for the equipment, a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service for major tobacco equipment; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Start-up of machines in customer plants and training customer personnel.
• Assist customers during breakdowns and perform maintenance of machines.
• Submit service and expense reports and keep customers updated on service status.
