Job summary

Find Great People | FGP is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers across the Southeast from Simpsonville, SC. The role focuses on troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, direct customer interaction, and field service execution.

You will travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites (SC, NC, TN, GA), with tools provided and travel expenses reimbursed, and you will also handle remote diagnostics and on-site maintenance when not traveling.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years in field service, industrial maintenance, machinery repair, or related experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools

• Provide customer training on equipment operations and maintenance
• Read and interpret wiring schematics, mechanical diagrams, and service documentation
• Serve as the primary service contact for customers in your territory (SC, NC, TN, GA)
• 50% travel.
• Collaborate with the global service team to resolve issues and ensure customer success
• On non-travel days, be in-office handling follow-ups and spare parts orders

If you enjoy troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, working directly with customers, and solving technical challenges in the field, this could be a great fit.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues at customer manufacturing sites or remotely.
• Provide customer training on equipment operations and maintenance
• Read and interpret wiring schematics, mechanical diagrams, and service documentation
• Serve as the primary service contact for customers in your territory (SC, NC, TN, GA).
• 50% travel.
• Work closely with the global service team to resolve technical issues and ensure customer success
• In office when not traveling. Following up with customers, managing orders with spare parts

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of field service, industrial maintenance, machinery repair, or related experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues on site and remotely
• Willingness to travel to customer sites. Mainly day trips. Tools provided, Travel expenses reimbursed.
