Moog's Space and Defense Group in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to lead production hardware failure investigations on missile and defense programs. You will conduct physics-based fault tree analyses, root cause investigations, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test teams to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace/Systems) or related discipline.
• Failure Analysis / Root Cause Investigation Experience.
• Technical understanding of electromechanical systems.
• Cross-Functional Communication & Collaboration.
• Data-Driven Problem Solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead failure investigations on production hardware issues by analyzing test telemetry and hardware performance.
• Conduct physics-based fault tree analyses and root cause investigations to identify and resolve failures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Test teams to troubleshoot issues and develop corrective actions.
• Document investigation findings and present status to stakeholders.
