Job summary

Sensata Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to collaborate with local or global teams on product design meeting customer specifications. You will support design, validation, documentation and production release through drawings and compliant releases in internal systems.

You will conduct design verification, feasibility studies, and coordinate with technicians and drafting teams to ensure successful implementation while applying strong mechanical engineering fundamentals.

Qualifications

• A university degree required (Bachelors) or equivalent experience.
• Fast-paced environment; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience coordinating with technicians and drafting teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with static, dynamic design, and analysis of electro-mechanical components.
• Perform design verification by collecting empirical data and making recommendations.
• Participate in feasibility studies and testing with drafting teams and support personnel.
• Coordinate failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles including materials, fluids, thermo and heat transfer.
